With over 15 years of experience as a salsa pianist and arranger across Latin America and Europe, I've witnessed firsthand the gap between learning dance steps and truly understanding the music. Throughout my journey, I've played with orchestras, taught countless students, and discovered that the secret to authentic salsa lies not in memorizing patterns—but in understanding the conversation between instruments.
